Nintaii Game Review: Push your Patience
November 30, 2009 | Cody Buchanan

For some reason logic games tend to dominate the iPhone or iTouch world. Perhaps it’s because of their easy controls, simple premises, or just because they’re fun. Nintaii is a perfect example of a logic game that blends brainpower with pure addictiveness.
Nintaii has an extremely basic premise, your goal is to get the large stone block into the hole. But don’t think you won’t encounter any tricks along the way. First, be sure to keep your block on the designated path because if you go off of the side you lose! Second, your block is twice as wide as the path in most places so you’ll have to flip it end to end instead of rolling it on its side. Third, hitting certain switches on the path will reveal more path or an obstacle standing in your way so choose carefully where you move. And fourth, although it may look like you’ve hit a dead end try flipping your block every way possible and you might find a way out!
The graphics for Nintaii aren’t anything to get excited about. However, they get the job done. The controls for Nintaii are a pretty basic touch and move, and I’m glad the designers didn’t use the accelerometer or the game could have become frustrating quick. The game offers hundreds of levels and stages so you won’t get bored anytime soon. And more so, the majority of the levels can be played a different way each time. All in all, for $.99 it’s definitely worth checking out!
Verdict: 4/5 Stars
