Apple has come out with a new iPhone model every year since its inception. Apple routinely comes out with new products. So even if this midboard is actually part of a new Apple product, iPhone or otherwise, we have learned nothing other than that Apple will at some point in the future have a new product in its iPhone line, which we already knew. We learn nothing of its features, nothing of what will be different about it, nothing about its release date. Even if it is true, it is essentially a non-news item. Label one of your parts eerily similar to something that might sound like it belongs in an apple product and leak the information out to a few willing sources. I wonder if anyone will be reporting on what the "midboard" is actually intended for if it ends up not being associated with apple at all.
