I would hardly consider myself a gamer, aside from casual games like Bejeweled, but the most recent Star Wars game has me excited. The game is called Star Wars: Trech Run and just recently made its way into the App Store. It is selling for $4.99.
Not wanting to go into a full review of the game here, because that would mean that I would have to play before I work. Of course, that playing could be considered work, but I also know that I will not stop playing anytime soon.
That said, the Star Wars: Trench Run offers users a different experience from the last Star Wars: The Force Unleashed game by taking you on a trip in the pilots seat of an X-Wing fighter.
The game offers “true-life flight,” multiple points of view, a mission mode, an arcade mode, multiple layers of difficulty and a “breathtaking 3D experience.” Additionally, it was also noted that there are some hidden features that were tossed in for you to discover as well as the one part that worries me most — “addictive game play.”
And while I cannot comment personally, and I am a little biased towards Star Wars I can say that the game appears to be getting pretty decent reviews in the App Store.
