Step Trak Lite App Review: Walk Hard

Step Trak Lite App Review: Walk Hard

The cold hard truth is very few of us get the daily exercise we need. Personally, the most exercise I get is going through my day to day tasks. Have you ever stopped to consider how much you really walk at school or work everyday? Well how about counting all those steps to find out? Don’t worry, you won’t personally have to count them. The Step Trak Lite app will do it for you!

Step Trak Lite, an app for iPhones and iTouch by Aware Technologies, is a nifty little pocket pedometer. Pedometers are little gizmos one would wear on their hip to count the number of steps they take. You can wear pedometers while walking, running, hiking and other stepping activities. But old style pedometers all had one thing in common, they were inaccurate. Well the Step Trak Lite app is a major improvement.

Once downloaded to your device, the app will count your steps and display them virtually. But this app won’t just tell you how many steps you’ve taken, it will break them all down into a host of information. For starters, the app can tell you how long you’ve been exercising.  It will then break down the time into two groups: moderate and vigorous. The app also tells you how many steps you’ve taken and breaks that number down into running and walking steps.

The interface for this app is user friendly, but it isn’t anything to look at. The display is very dull and cold, but it gets the job done so I can’t complain. As far as accuracy goes this app was spot on every time. Because the apps a lite version it’s absolutely free. So I recommend you check it out now!

Verdict: 4.5/5 Stars
