This being Black Friday, there are plenty of bargains to be found inside the iTunes store, along with a collection of interesting new titles too.  Here’s a bumper look at what you will find in the App Store this week:

iFarm.

From seemingly nowhere, this innocent little game has shot to the top of the iTunes charts!  Presumably assisted by the popularity of the infernal Farmville Facebook game, the idea here is to design and manage your own farm, from buildings to crops.  Beware though, the app may be free, but if you want extra ‘points’, they cost.

Tetris.

This classic time-waster and many other Electronic Arts games are discounted by up to 50% this weekend, including Boggle, SimCity, Spore: Origins and Scrabble.

Gorilla Monkey Crunch.

You, as the gorilla, perch on a bridge and drop coconuts onto passing monkeys, who sit atop rafts on a river.  Miss and they’ll break a section of your bridge or set a banana-skin based trap for you.  From this description you’ll know whether this will be your kind of fun or simply drive you insane!

PAC-MAN REMIX.

This 3D version of the arcade favourite is a sale item from Namco, which along with Mr. Driller, Dig Dug Remix and Galaga Remix are all available for $0.99 for a limited time.

Touch DJ.

An inventive solution to professional music mixing on the iPhone, whose lack of stereo input has previously been a stumbling block.  With Touch DJ, a visual mixing system has been created so that two MP3’s can be manipulated and various effects added.

Terminator Salvation: The Official Game.

The game of the film is on sale until Sunday for $0.99, as are other Gameloft titles including Blades of Fury, Shrek Kart and Real Tennis 2009.  These special prices expire on Sunday.

Business Card Reader.

A gadget often found on various other smartphones, the Business Card Reader uses special text recognition software to take all the right information from a business card and automatically create a new contact file, as well as search LinkedIn  for you..   All you need to do is take a picture of the card.

Snapture.

One of the best camera applications available is not only on sale for Thanksgiving, but has been taken to v2.0, where Twitter and Facebook sharing links have been added along with a tap to focus feature on the iPhone 3GS.

eBay Deals.

Another official app from ebay, this time designed specifically to help you find the best deals on the auction website.  You can create searches and then share items you’ve found over various social networks.

FlickTunes.

Reduced to the princely sum of absolutely nothing, FlickTunes simplifies the standard iPod controls to make it easier to change tracks, increase or decrease the volume or advance through songs, while in a situation where looking at the screen is inconvenient, such as driving.
