Tweetie 2 has returned with yet another update, and despite this being just a little point release there is nothing small about this update. To begin with, Tweetie 2 has gone from version 2.0 up to 2.1, and it is still listed in the App Store for $2.99.

Moving on, with version 2.1 we now have a pretty full list of additions, changes and fixes. In other words, one of the most popular Twitter apps for the iPhone now has even more to offer.

A few features that stuck out in my eye include support for Twitter lists and geotagging. But that is just the tip of the iceberg so to speak, also included was support for Posterous images and video, retweet, some UI tweaks, the ability to report spam and something called “Tweet stream gap detection.”
