Wired Product Reviews App: Spark Your Interest

Have you ever bought a crappy product? You know, you buy it, take it home all excited, then when you open it and start using it turns out it sucks. Whether it’s electronics, home appliances, sports equipment or anything else you shop for, chances are you want to know about it before you buy. Well sure you can research product reviews online, but what if you’re already in the store ready to make a purchase. Well luckily through the wonder of technology you can read product reviews while in the store. All you need is your iPhone or iTouch and the Wired Product Reviews App.

For starters, Wired Product Reviews is an app brought to you by CondeNet, the people responsible for Wired Magazine. So obviously these people know what they’re doing. Wired Product Reviews is an app that holds countless reviews on thousands of products. Each review is skillfully crafted and well thought out to bring the reader the best information possible. Although the name “Wired” implies that the app pertains specifically to electronics, the app does offer ratings on all types of products.

When your first start up the app, you’ll be taken to the home menu that includes: automobiles, camcorders, desktops, digital cameras, gaming gear, home audio and video, household, mobile phones, notebooks, portable media players, sports and outdoors, and televisions. However, instead of representing each category with boring old words, the developers chose to use a more attractive look. The entire app is done in a sort of space age look, with picture icons instead of text. You can read thousands of reviews written specifically for each product.

All in all, the app is pretty useful. It’s great to whip out while shopping around or even when your bored and want to browse. Obviously, no app can cover every single product out there. However, this app managed to cover ever single product I searched for. The best part about this app is it’s free! So check out Wired Product Reviews now!

I wish someone would create an app that combines this and RedLaser, so I could scan products then review them.
