XShot has recently announced (and made available for pre-order), their iPhone case. Now for those that have not seen an XShot before, they are worth checking out.
Of course, they are a little self serving in that the device will allow you to hold your camera, or in this case your iPhone at a distance so you can be included in the pictures with your loved ones. I say self-serving, but in reality these are nice products because now you can get some good group shots without having to always “be the one behind the camera.”
Anyway, the iPhone case is made for the iPhone 3G and 3GS and features a built-in tripod mount. And on that mount you can attach either an XShot extender arm, in which you can use to be included in pictures while holding the camera at a distance. Or alternatively attach a tripod mount, in which will also allow you to be in the image.
As far as what to purchase, you can grab either the XShot iPhone 3G Case for $19.95, or pick up the XShot and iPhone Case Bundle which includes the case and the extender for $44.95. Both items are expected to begin shipping this month.
