Zombieville USA was one of the very first games I bought for my iTouch. I’ll be the first to admit my obsession of everything zombie. If there’s a new zombie movie in theaters I’ll be the first to see it. If there’s a new zombie video game I’ll be the first to play it. So it was only fitting that this game be one of the first to populate my iTouches app list. And it’s still there today, and still used almost everyday!

In Zombieville USA, you’re a grumpy little redneck that’s on a gun slinging rampage! You must navigate through and endless suburbia destroying everything undead in your path. To move your little killer, tap the left or right arrow in the bottom corners of the screen. Tap between those two arrows to fire your gun or use whatever weapon you have on hand. When you pass a house with a door, tap the door to raid it for cash and ammo. Remember to save up your cash for bigger and badder weapons down the line.

Along the top of the screen is your ammo, health bar, pause symbol, and cash total. Once you grab another weapon, you can switch between your arsenal by tapping the ammo symbol. Obviously, tapping the pause symbol will pause the game.

The graphics for this game are extremely well done. It’s hard to give a word description of what they are, but users will definitely not be disappointed. The controls are relatively easy, and new users will be pro in no time. The game offers three different difficulty levels, so you can pick the one that best fits you. The game will technically go on forever, but chance are the zombies will get you eventually!

All in all, this is an amazing game for iPhone and iTouch. If you haven’t checked it out yet I definitely recommend doing so. It can keep virtually anyone entertained for hours, and it will probably keep a permanent spot on your app list. For $1.99 it doesn’t get much better than this!
