I have not been as vocal lately in my love for jailbreaking, but worry not, I still love and could not imagine using my iPhone 3GS in a non-jailbroken state. That said, I seem to have fallen into a place where I am happy with my current setup. Heck there was even almost a full week that I did not even launch Cydia. Of course, new apps appear and my desire to play comes back.
The latest app to cross my jailbreaking radar is called ProSwitcher and it will give users a webOS like app switching experience. In other words it will let you switch apps via a card like setup. The good news here is that ProSwitcher is currently available for free, and can be found in Cydia at http://booleanmagic.com/repo/.
Of course, I should point out that ProSwitcher does require the use of another app. That other app is called Backgrounder and that is what allows you to run apps in the background. In other words, the ProSwitcher app is more of a front end for backgrounder. Still, front end or not, it is a welcomed addition to my iPhone.

Doesn't show on a Cydia or Rock search.

You have to add the Repo to cydia. It's not there by default.

Got it. Thanks. This is one of the few Jailbreak apps the tempts me. Most seem to be unfinished but ProSwitcher is very good. Using on a 2g iPhone w/Backgrounder. I can keep 5 apps open w/o a crash.
Make sure you check-out the "Settings" menu for ProSwitcher to customize for activation.

I was reluctant to jailbreak my 3GS, but I'm thrilled that I did it. I have had zero problems and makes the phone so much better. I couldn't live without SBsettings, five icon dock or backgrounder.

BTW, there are a large number of jailbroken phones out there, you should post up a few more entries for the jailbroken crowd.

I just installed this app yesterday, and it seems to drain the battery very quickly! I does crash few times as well, but overall it's nice to see this app on iphone.

Some golf GPS units even include satellite images of every hole. So, along with providing accurate distances, good GPS devices can help you with tactic and course administration
