AT&T and Verizon End Their Lawsuits, Definitely Not the End of Drama

Finally putting an end to the insanity, today we’ve learned that AT&T and Verizon have dropped their recent ad-related litigation against each other. With AT&T recently losing a request to get Verizon to stop airing their critical ads against AT&T’s network, it didn’t make much sense for them to pour time and money into fight—especially since things wouldn’t be resolved for some time.

But even though things are now kosher on the legal end of things, don’t expect AT&T or Verizon to let up with the volleys of criticism. If anything, the onslaught of critical ads is going to increase as we get closer to the holidays.

AT&T definitely ended up looking worse in this whole ordeal because Verizon’s ads spoke directly to their weaknesses. Good thing for us, all of this has led to AT&T being more transparent about their network upgrades, so we can actually see that change is happening on their end.
