Thanks to a newly released iPhone app, you can now “carry Blockbuster in your pocket.” Or at least that is what you can do, according to the App Store description.

But in what I would say is better late than never, and as you may have guessed I have long since given up on the Blockbuster rental method and moved to Netflix. Of course, I am not sure Netflix has an official app, so maybe Blockbuster is ahead on this aspect.

That said, the newly release app will allow you to browse the movie selection, find out where a local store location is as well as manage your rental queue. And the best part is that the app is available for free.
