BudgetCare App Review: Wrangle Your Spending

It goes without saying that the holidays are a time of economic stress for most families. This year especially, more and more people are starting to take a closer look at their budgets and what they can do to save a few bucks here and there. Well, if your not a math wizard or accountant, then chances are you’re like me and you have trouble keeping track of where all your money goes. Well luckily, the BudgetCare app for iPhone or iTouch can take care of that for me!

BudgetCare, an app by Suponix, is a basic budget control app that can help get your finances in order. When you first start the app you’ll be taken to a home screen. To begin getting your budget in order, tap the “New Transaction” button. You can then enter an amount, date and category of an expense. The app comes with a generous host of pre-loaded categories that you would expect to find like: insurance, bills, leisure and more. Or, if you can’t find a fitting category you can make your own. You can then file an item more precisely by using a subcategory.

Once you’ve entered all your information you can turn it into all types of readable data. This app really shines in constructing graphs. Perhaps you want to see how much of your budget is taken up by a certain percent? Try viewing the info in a pie chart. Or maybe you want to compare expenses? Try a bar graph.

BudgetCare allows you to keep track in days, weeks, months or even years so no matter what the budget, it can handle it. You can also compare your current expenses to your balance so you can plan your purchases carefully.

Although this app certainly can’t replace a professional financial adviser, it can help you stick to a budget. And at only $1.99 it won’t break the bank either. So if you’re looking for a handy way to save money check out BudgetCare!
