China Unicom iPhone sales bumped up to 100,000 since launching

Despite the iPhone reportedly only selling 5,000 units with China Unicom during the initial launch weekend, the sales seem to be steadily rolling in. The latest total, which includes all the iPhones that were sold since the October 30 release date are said to have topped 100,000 units.

Sure, not the highest of numbers, especially considering that China Unicom has a total of 144 million subscribers. But at the same time, it is hard to think that many would want the official iPhone as compared to that of a grey-market version. After all, the official version is lacking Wi-Fi, not to mention it is coming with a high price tag.

Still, 100,000 is much nicer sounding than 5,000.
