The elusive Sean Kovacs has recently offered up a new post over on his SeanKovacs.com blog alerting us that a new version of GV Mobile is in the works. Nothing has been given in terms of a release date, but that aside there was some good news included in that post.

To begin with, is seems that he is putting the final touches on version 2 of GV Mobile, which is currently being listed as v2.0 b5. And Sean has also put out a call for anyone willing to do some beta testing.

In terms of the app itself, it was described as being a complete re-write and judging from the screenshots that he posted — it looks nice. Once ready, GV Mobile will be available in the Cydia Store for $1.99. Of course, there was also a little tease of hope that it will “eventually” be in the App Store.
