[UPDATE] Congrats davidlyness and @Bluddering, send me an email at areyouageek (at) gmail (dot) com and let me know where you would like me to send your screen protectors.
[Original Post] Once again, coming courtesy of PhoneSuit I am able to offer you both a product review and a product giveaway. This time we have a few screen protectors — one of which is clear and the other is mirrored.
Moving on, check out the review as well as the details for the giveaway at the end of the post.
These screen protectors are very nice, albeit a little tougher to put on smoothly as compared to some other screen protectors that I have used over the years. I say they are tougher because they feel a little thicker and are not quite as flexible. That said, given a little patience and a few tries I managed to get them on smoothly and then they worked wonderfully.
Clear
Not much to say about this one, its a screen protector and its clear. Once on smoothly there was little to show that it was there. Well, aside from looking around the edge of the display or around the home button.
Mirror
Unlike the clear protector, this one is much more for show. First, it has a mirrored finish, which is not the nicest when you are not fond of looking at fingerprints. It also had a little darker look, and therefor seemed to change the colors on the display a little bit. Maybe not the best for those who watch a lot of video or often view images.
Bottom Line
These are both tough and durable screen protectors and aside from a little extra patience in getting them on without any bubbles they worked wonderfully. I guess I should also point out that they were able to come off without leaving any residue behind. Honestly I would recommend either, even if the mirrored finish was not exactly my style.
Finally, the PhoneSuit screen protectors can be purchased directly from the PhoneSuit website and retail for as low as $7.99 for a single screen protector up to $29.99 for a six pack.
And now for the giveaway. I have two screen protectors, so just like the USB charger review from yesterday we will have two winners. Entering to win is simple, just leave a comment below and two people will be picked at random. The contest will end at 5pm on Friday December 11, 2009. Finally, make sure you leave me a way to get in contact with you.

Ooh, I need a screen protector. I've tried many on my 3G but the problem is by the time I replace them I've forgotten the brand name

After looking at the photos there is way too much glare coming off the screen. Instead of using this film I suggest that you check out the NuShield DayVue antireflective screen protector. It is made to absorb glare, not reflect it. That means that you can actually see the screen, even outside. It might not be free, but its the best value for your money.

I was never one for screen protectors, they always seemed to be bulky and hindered use of the belt holder. This one seems to remedy that problem and I would definitely but it.

Hummm….
I have used the same screen protector now for the past 2+ years. It's acrylic so beginning to notice scratches on the surface and dulling of the overll finish. I think that Mirror finish would be an interesting "twist" to the normal "clear" protectors. So, please count me in on the give-away! Thanks very much. [email protected]

Why would you need a screen protector for a screen that does not scratch?! Oops – I just accidentally entered.

Just got my first iphone and love it. Please throw my name in the hat for the screen protector. I just hate that first scratch on a new toy. Thanks!!

Just setup my iPhone today and I must say I’m impressed. However a tough and effective screen protector is definitely needed like the ones above. Please enter me in the contest. Thanks.
