Wrapping up the PhoneSuit product reviews we have the PhoneSuit MiLi Power Pack for iPhone and of course we left the best for last. Anyway, as we have done with the previous two PhoneSuit reviews, I am going to be giving this away to one lucky reader. With that, read the review and then find out how to enter to win.

Specs & In The Box

The MiLi ships with USB cable and is powered by a 2000mAh battery. In terms of what you can expect, according to the website, the MiLi will offer you up to an additional 390 hours on standby, 6.5 hours of 3G talk time, 13.5 hours of 2G talk time, 6.5 hours of 3G surfing, 8 hours of Wi-Fi surfing, 31 hours of audio playback and 9 hours of video playback. The MiLi also has 4 LED indicator lights that will let you know roughly how much power is left as well as a USB in and USB out port.

Thoughts

After spending some time with the MiLi I am convinced that I like it. I cannot say that the extra hours quite lived up to what was mentioned on the website (and above), mainly because I would classify my testing as more casual than scientific. However, I did not have any issue with my iPhone running out of battery power.

The design of the power pack is similar to that of the Mophie, for those that may have used that product, which means the iPhone slips into the battery pack and docks on the bottom and is cradled on the sides. One difference with the MiLi is the casing is shiny and plastic. Keep in mind, its durable, but also shiny and likely to scratch easily and while it will not hurt the MiLi that may bother some.

Otherwise, once your iPhone is settled in, you can still use everything on the phone including the camera without issue thanks to the little cutout on the back and sides. You can also tell (roughly) how much power is left with the 4 LED indicator lights, and trust me that is helpful when out on the road and away from a power outlet.

The one really nice part about the MiLi is the USB in and out ports, which will allow you to charge any USB powered device. And surprisingly that came in handy more than once.

Bottom Line

I would not hesitate to recommend, and given the USB ports on the bottom the MiLi is a little more exciting as compared to some of the competition because in addition to charging your iPhone, this can also charge another USB powered device.
