Pandora App Review: Music Lovers Rejoice

Over the last century, the musical world has made giant leaps and strides from technology, to style and every area in between. Obviously, the iPod was a monumental event in the history of music that will forever change how we listen to music. But it wasn’t until just recently that an app for the iPhone was developed that deserves to share the spotlight with the music playing superstar. Pandora, and app built after the popular Pandora website, is the perfect musical companion for the iPhone.

Pandora is an app that takes millions of free songs from every genre and puts them all on your iPhone. When you first start using the app, you’ll be asked to enter the name of a favorite artist or song. The app will find that song and start playing it on your own, personal radio station. The app will then use the information from that first song to build an entire radio station tuned to your specific musical interest. For example, if you start playing a song by Linkin Park the app will add songs from groups like Fort Minor, Three Days Grace, Nickel Back and more artist similar to those.

The app is a perfect way for you to explore new artist without having to search hi and low to find them, as well as finding songs from your favorite artists you haven’t heard yet. Pandora will also allow users to bookmark a song they like to check it out later. Or tap a song to buy it instantly from the iTunes store directly from your device! And if you don’t like a song chosen, simply choose to never hear it again and eliminate the chance of hearing songs like it.

Pandora, in my opinion, is one of the greatest additions to the virtual music world since portable music players. The app is completely free and can bring you literally and endless supply of new, old, classic and fresh music. So if your someone who loves music, and chances are if you own an iPhone you are, then you need to download the Pandora app immediately!

Verdict: 5/5 Stars
