Park’n Find App Review: Never Forget Where You Parked

The holiday season has begun. Be prepared for long lines at the airport, busy malls and stores, and packed places everywhere you go. And what do all of these things have in common? Packed parking lots! If you tried getting some shopping in over the weekend you know that major sales brought major crowds and just about everyone of those people drove. That means you have to either spend hours cruising the lot for that perfect spot, or you have to park way out deep in a see of cars. Well now you never have to worry about forgetting where you parked, as long as you have your iPhone and the Park’n Find app.

Park’n Find is an addition to the app store that’s been a long time coming. Personally, I’ve encountered countless situations in which I’ve lost my car in a giant parking lot only to find it a few aisles over or a couple rows down. Park’n Find uses your iPhones GPS capabilities to map the exact location of where you parked.

As soon as you park, take out your device and start up the app. The app will then map your current location and save it. The basic way to remember where you parked is visually using a GPS map, as you move around you’ll be represented by a dot and your car will be represented by another. However, if you need more details as to where your vehicle is located you can add notes when you park. For example, perhaps you’re parked in a parking garage on the second level. The app allows you to make a note of that and save it along with the cars location. The app also allows you to take a picture of where you parked, however I can’t see much practicality in doing that.

Surprisingly, every time I used the app I found it pretty accurate, getting me in feet of my car every time. The instructions and controls are pretty basic and it doesn’t take long to figure out. At $.99 I would say it’s definitely worth never losing your car again!

Verdict: 5/5 Stars
