Since jumping on the iPhone bandwagon, I’ve been searching for an easy-to-use wireless printing app that connects to my Wi-Fi printer. I’ve had many situations where it would have been very convenient to print some text, an email, or a web page, from my iPhone. There are a few apps out there already, but they either involve complicated client/server setups with a separate computer (and don’t talk direct to wireless printers), or they only work with certain printers like HP’s iPrint app.
Print Magic ($6.99 on the iTunes Store) seems like exactly the sort of thing I’ve been looking for. The app offers the ability to print to any wireless printer on your network, or to a printer being shared on a Mac (they’ll probably add PC sharing support down the line). In testing the app, CNET found that it couldn’t connect to some printers, but the developers will soon be making available a trial version of the app so you can make sure it works before purchasing.
To print text you simply have to copy it to your clipboard, launch the app, then hit print. For web pages, all you need to provide is a URL. The app also offers access to your photo library for printing images.
We’ll have a further report on Print Magic once I can give the free version a test run.

I have spent endless hours contacting Apple, HP, Dragon,& other Iphone App providers for a solution to my problem, and keep hitting dead ends. Can u help me? I just bought an iPhone 3gs, and….
I would like to print Dragon Dictation generated text directly from my iphone to a printer without going thru a computer/email. I have downloaded Dragon Dictation onto my iphone, and can convert voice to text (works great). I have found an App called Print Magic that supposedly will send the text directly from the iphone to a printer via Wi-Fi, but I don't have Wi-Fi in my office. I was recently told by a Best Buy salesman that I can achieve this without Wi-Fi by using Bluetooth (printer has to be Bluetooth capable) , but I don't want to spend the $200 for a printer with this capability until I know for sure this will work. If this works, do I need a Bluetooth headset, or will the Bluetooth in the iPhone do all the work?
Alternatively, is there an app that would let me download the clipboard from my iPhone via USB directly onto a printer ?
As you can tell, I'm new to this. Can you help solve the problem?
Thanks
