The only problem is Santa’s having a bit of trouble keeping up with the masses, but don’t worry because you can help him. Check out the Santa’s Run game for your iPhone or iTouch.

Santa’s Run, an app by Broken Thumbs Apps, is your basic Holiday cheer game. The premise is mildly simple yet still addicting enough to pass a few minutes here and there. Your job is to travel around the world and deliver hundreds of presents to deserving kids everywhere. And the easiest way to do that is by flinging the presents into open doors and chimneys!

The controls for Santa’s Run are pretty basic but take some time to get used to. You’ll need to aim your present carefully and set the power via the three blue, red, and green rings surrounding the present. The entire controls are just tapping at the precise moment. However, keep in mind that the wind can work against you, suddenly blowing your present of course!

The game offers two modes which are Around the World and and Endless Delivery. Around the world will take you to four different regions along Santa’s route and give you a set time and number of presents you’ll need to deliver. Endless Delivery will allow you to choose one of those four regions and practice delivering gifts for as long as you need. Then you can share your score with other players using the devices web connection.

At $.99, this game is good for passing a few minutes here and their. The graphics and controls are pretty basic but get the job done. So check out Santa’s Run now to get in the spirit of Christmas!
