Despite my recent new found enjoyment of the HootSuite app for the iPhone, I have not abandoned my previous favorite of TwitBird Pro. In fact they both remain installed on my iPhone and sit side by side. And in a little bit of good news, the TwitBird Pro app was just recently given an update.

To begin with, the first, or at least most noticeable change comes in the form of a new icon. Which is totally different from the last, not saying I dont like it, but I am going to have to get used to this one.

But more important is what new features and improvements were made to the actual app.

And those come in the form of official support for Twitter Lists, as well as some improvements to the user interface and themes. But the best comes in something that you cannot see, but what you can experience — speed and performance optimizations.

As it had been, TwitBird Pro (App Store link) remains available in the App Store for a price tag of $2.99.
