For me Twitterific, of which I was using the Premium version has gone unused in favor of TwitBird Pro and Tweetie 2. However as always I maintain the app listing in iTunes and watch for future updates that may cause me to switch back, or at least give the app a second look.

Anyway, The Iconfactory has recently rolled out an update for both Twitterific and Twitterific Premium. Unfortunately I cannot say this update has caused me to re-install the app, but at the say time it is nice to see updates coming.

According to the “What’s new in this version” both the free and premium version have been given identical updates which include;

• Authors archived tweets now use count setting (50/100/200)
• Photo viewer has button to open web page for the photo

Granted, these are small updates, but should be welcomed by the power users. Additionally, there were also about a handful of bug fixes rolled out.

As they have been in the past, both the free and premium versions are available for download in the App Store. They are priced at free and $4.99.
