Wallet Pro App Review: Protect Your Personality

Wallet Pro App Review: Protect Your Personality

The modern world is filled with different dangers, whether they’re physical, mental, or financial. The truth is it’s hard to live a completely safe life. And one of the biggest dangers threatening the financial world of today is identity theft. So how do you keep your iPhone safe from virtual predators? Easy, check out the Wallet Pro app by Memengo.

Think about all of the personal information you have stored on your iPhone. You probably have email addresses, phone numbers, website passwords, bank account numbers, credit card numbers and plenty of other personal and financial things you want to keep private. Well Wallet Pro can make sure those things stay where they belong, and don’t fall into the hands of criminals or thieves.

The app is basically a protected folder in which you can store any information that might be on your iPhone. The folder holds a variety of smaller folders that are categorized by what you might find in them. For example, Contact, Credit Card, and Email account are a few of the folders you can expect to find. The app claims to guard your information using a 256 bit encryption code. However, I haven’t the faintest idea of what that means. After some quick research I discovered that it’s one of the best ways to keep your info safe!

All in all, the app is one of those better-safe-than-sorry apps. However, I don’t see a need for the average joe to buy it. Personally, I never use my iPhone to view personal things such as bank statements or credit info. It’s just too risky. At $4.99 I would rather just advise you to browse carefully and make sure you keep track of your info. But you still might want to check out Wallet Pro.

Verdict: 2/5 Stars

Hi, I'm the developer or Wallet Pro.

Think about the situation where you have couple of debit cards and you use one all the time, but the other is just a backup in case first one stops working. Now suppose it did stop working, can you remember the PIN code for your backup card? That's a good use of Wallet Pro right there. Another example is luggage combination lock which you may need away from computer. Or just think about travel in general: you're in a foreign country and don't have your PC with you, but now you think you need to access some rarely used account, like pay the phone bill or something. There is advantage to keeping your data within your reach, so you don't have to plan ahead as much.
