iGift4U App Review

What did you get this last holiday for a present. Chances are you either gave or received a gift card of some type. You have to wonder whatever happened to the thought that use to come behind a gift. Now we might as well just keep our money and pretend we gave each other something. Some people don’t even bother getting gift cards, they just send virtual gifts online! For example, if I want to say thanks to someone over Facebook I can just send them a virtual gift! Well now there’s an app that houses hundreds of classic, odd and funny virtual gifts you can give on Facebook or Twitter.

The iGift4U app is basically an app that enables the user to select from hundreds of virtual gifts to send over Facebook or Twitter. You can send everything from quotes to all sorts of items. The games developers apparently took plenty of time building the library for this app. However, I wish they would of spent more time on the delivery part as well. I ran into a few gifts that were over the text limit for Facebook or Twitter mobile, therefore cutting them short before they could finish.

The app also allows you to attach any of the pictures or quotes onto an email, so you’re not strictly limited to Twitter or Facebook. Along with the odd feature of having a tap link to Amazon.com where you can buy the actual gifts you’ve been sending.

The graphics and over all use of this app are pretty basic but easy to understand. I ran into a few bugs that the developers of iGift4U could easily clean up with an update. The most impressive part of the app is the apparently endless library or different things you can send. Personally, I’m not into the whole “virtual gifting” world, but for those who are this app would make a great addition to their iPhone for only $.99!

Verdict: 3.5/5 Stars
