QuickReader App Review

QuickReader App Review

We live in a fast paced world. Look around you and you’ll notice we’re constantly bombarded by text from every angle whether it be commercials, advertisements, instructions or whatever. So how do you get the most out of this world that has so much to say? You can’t read it all, or can you? If you’re lucky enough to practice the skill of quick reading you can! And the best way to hone that skill is the QuickReader app for the iPhone or iTouch.

Upon first inspection, you might assume QuickReader is an eBook app that allows you to import and read virtual books. However you would be wrong. QuickReader is actually a training tool that is used to turn the average reader into a quick reader. A quick reader is someone who reads at a much faster pace then normal by taking in large groups of information instead of one word at a time.

The app works using twenty one classic novels and stories to continually enhance the speed at which your mind and eyes read. The app starts by taking a test of sort that tells you how many words per minute you can currently read. The app uses that information to set the text at a certain speed you should be able to read at. As you read at this speed and train your brain, you’ll naturally become a quicker reader. Once you find yourself being slowed down by the text, you can advance the speed to further your training.

The app also offers a few nifty features like the ability to copy and paste text as well as reference a certain phrase. But the whole idea behind the app is to train you to read faster. Don’t buy this app expecting to use it as an eBook reader, because it doesn’t currently allow you to import other works. However, do check QuickReader out if you’re interested in enhancing your reading skill.
