Valentines day is just around the corner. Guys everywhere are ordering flowers, buying chocolates and making plans to ensure their Valentines day is perfect. Okay truth is a lot of guys haven’t even thought about Valentines day. But before you run out to your local drug store and buy a cheap card, consider this solution. Pick up the An App To Tell application for the iPhone or iTouch.

An App To Tell is an app that can create a custom virtual cards that not only include thoughtful text, but also pictures and voice! When you first start the app, you’ll be prompted to enter some text into the first area of the card. This is what your receiver will be reading, so make sure to fill it with lots of love and joy! Next, you can take a picture or import one from your camera roll. If you take a picture and decide you don’t like it, you can preview it before you actually go through the hassle of uploading it. Lastly, you can add your own voice or music to the app with your microphone. The best part about the microphone is you have unlimited time. So feel free to talk, sing or hum your heart out!

When you upload a picture, the app automatically crops the sides making them fuzzy as if they’re fading away. So be sure to preview any images before they’re sent. Once you’ve got your entire card assembled, you have to ways to share it. Both ways send a link in an email to receivers. If you’re receivers viewing the card on their computer, they simply click the link and are taken to a custom web page that shows your creation. Or if your receivers viewing the card on their iDevice, they can download the card as an app for free so it can be viewed anytime!

All in all, the An App To tell is pretty fun to play around with and receive. I wouldn’t recommend sending just this as a gift, but it goes nice with a box of chocolates! Grab An App To Tell now for only $.99!

Verdict: 4/5 Stars
