Are These the UK iPad Prices?
February 25, 2010 | Andy Boxall

Right now, there is no official information on the iPad in the UK. No prices, no firm launch date or anything, so this should be taken at purely face-value. The details come from an unidentified source who has revealed the following:
- The 16GB Wi-Fi iPad will cost £389.
- The 32GB Wi-Fi iPad will cost £439.
- The 64GB Wi-Fi iPad will cost £489.
There was no talk of the 3G model’s prices, but the release window for the Wi-Fi models was said to be April. This is slightly at odds with Apple’s official iPad page, which says April is when the 3G models will hit the stores, with the Wi-Fi’s out in March. The site also claims ‘an unbelievable price’, but then states that UK pricing is still to be announced.
There is very little point in comparing these prices with the US ones, as UK Apple products are always more expensive, but the question is, if these turn out to be correct, will any of our UK readers be picking one up, despite the fact a netbook can be had for half the price?

On Google Shopping results, Play.com are already advertising the iPad 16GB Wi-Fi for £499.
