Camera Genius: Photo App Review
February 14, 2010 | Cody Buchanan

Chances are not a whole lot of photographers out there are using their iPhone’s camera professionally. But the majority of us do use our built in camera to snap pictures all the time. However, we’re quickly disheartened when the pictures don’t look right or just don’t come out. But a new app can change the way you take pictures on your iPhone. The Photo Genius app, by CodeGoo, can help anyone take better pictures from their device.
The app works by adding a bunch of bonus features to your cameras arsenal of options. Simply tap the app’s icon on the main menu when you want to take a picture instead of hitting the camera button. Photo Genius‘s features include: Anti-shake, zoom, big button, sound capture, timer, burst and some helpful guides and a manual.
The first feature, anti-shake, helps stabilize the camera before you snap a picture. So you won’t end up with blurry images or missed pictures. The zoom feature is pretty self explanatory. Simply slide a bar to zoom in and out like you would a lens. Big button turns your entire devices screen into a button that takes a picture, so all you have to do is tap anywhere on the screen. Sound capture might be the most unique feature. You set the app to take a picture when the microphone picks up a sound. Great for when you go on those spy missions. Timer is just a basic timer that you can set to take a picture. And lastly, tapping burst will take three quick photo’s in a row.
Camera Genius also gives users some guides and a complete manual that can help readers judge light, use different photo methods and combine any of the features mentioned above to take the best picture possible. Although I doubt this app will turn you into a professional photographer, I will say it will probably make your pictures much better and make you more confident. So for $1.99, I recommend checking Camera Genius out!

I have it and it's great but…it's not native so you can't use it with the home button (push 3 times to activate the camera. Hopefully Apple will wake up some day and open the API up a bit more and let non-native apps take the place of native ones.
iphone camera is really works good , i really love to have family snaps or when we are going for outing to have snaps with it.
