Dual Electronics’ XGPS300 for the iPod touch not shipping until late-February
February 1, 2010 | Robert Nelson

Its been a while since we last heard anything about the XGPS300. And for those that have since forgotten, the XGPS300 is an in-car GPS unit and mount for the iPod touch. It is being made by a company called Dual Electronics. Additionally, the car GPS/mount also comes with a NavAtlas app bundled in.
So like I said, its been a while since we last heard about the XGPS300 and at the time it was mentioned that it would be selling for $179.99, however a release date was never announced.
Well, it seems that the date, or at least time frame has been announced — late February.
So basically, if you were holding out hope of grabbing a Dual Electronics XGPS300 anytime soon, it looks like you have a few more weeks to wait.
Still, it sounds like an interesting product, though $180 is a bit steep for me.

$180 is also about the same price as the TomTom mount which also has a GPS built-in. I know choose.
