FaceCall App Review

We all have those people in our phone that we call the most. Whether it’s a relative, friend or co-worker we find ourselves dialing their number the most. So naturally, there’s been a host of ways created to quickly call those frequent numbers. Methods like speed dial or favorites. But a new way owners of the iPhone can call quicker is by adding an icon to their main screen that can directly call anyone. The app that does this is FaceCall, by Wuonm.
FaceCall is arguably the most unique way to quickly call someone. The app can customize and place a icon on your iPhone’s main menu that you can tap to call or email them. The first step is creating the icon. First you select a name from your contact list. Then you choose either their email or phone number. The app doesn’t allow you to add multiple contact methods to one icon, so choose the method you most often use. Lastly, you can add a photo from your camera wheel or take a new one while in the app. Then give FaceCall a few minutes to assembly all of the data and Ta-da, you have a new icon on your main menu. Then every time you want to contact that particular person all you have to do is tap that icon.
Now the app does have a few obvious problems. For one, if your contact has more than one phone number then you’ll need to add two icons. Luckily, in today’s modern world most people have their very own personal cell phone that they carry with them everywhere. The second bug is the amount of time this app takes to call someone. The time taken to start a call after tapping an icon is equivalent to the time it takes to search through your contact list. So I have to wonder if spending the $2.99 is worth it. Maybe if you frequently call the same person and are too lazy to find them on a list, FaceCall would be perfect for you. But personally, I’ll save my money.

This app is pretty cool but the time between tapping the icon and the call connecting can be kind of long. Also the last time I messed with it, I had to get rid of a ton of other apps to get the new icon that I just created, to show up on a home screen. That really made me mad, but since apple doesn't make this feature available I guess I will just deal with this. I say get it because it does work, just know that it takes 5-8 seconds after the tap for the iphone (3gs) to attempt the call.
I’ve started looking all about for this specific post. Luckily my partner and i came across it on Yahoo.

i think mostly phone have this facility by default where user can place his required number against any single number , and user keep holding that specific number and call connects .
