Final Fantasy I and II Available for the iPhone Now!

Premiering way back in 1987, Final Fantasy introduced an RPG franchise which has gone on to spawn twelve sequels, won seemingly as many awards as fans and even been featured in the Guinness Book of Records!  Square Enix have now adapted the original and its sequel for the iPhone and iPod Touch.

Fans will have to buy each game individually and stump up a relatively hefty $8.99/£5.49 each to do so, but at least Final Fantasy will include the bonus dungeons from Soul of Chaos and Labyrinth of Time, and Final Fantasy II will feature the Soul of Rebirth and Arcane Labyrinth’s extra dungeon fun too.

This massively popular game is likely to be a huge hit, both with nostalgic old hands and with players introduced to Final Fantasy by the more recent games, as it’s a great opportunity for them to discover the series’ roots.
