More iPhone Street Fighter IV Details Emerge
February 23, 2010 | Andy Boxall

A week ago today we saw some screenshots from the forthcoming iPhone version of Capcom’s Street Fighter IV and although they looked faithful enough to the arcade and console versions, the control system was a question mark and there was no word when it would actually be released.
Today though, the lucky folk at gamepro.com got a chance to play the game and in addition to finding out some more details, took the opportunity to shoot a video too.
The release is scheduled for March and the price has been set at $9.99, so it had better be good. There will be eight characters featured in the game, with old faithful’s Ryu, Ken, Chun-Li, Blanka, Guile, M.Bison and Dhalsim joining the more recent character of Abel. This initial set could potentially be joined by add-on character packs containing some of the newer characters, of course.
From what we can see in the video the controls look quite good, as we can forgive fluffed special moves on account of this probably being the first time the person playing has done so on a touchscreen! Seeing as they still pull off a few and go on to win, this can be taken as a good sign. Take a look for yourselves and let us know your thoughts.

I'm a huge fan of this new band, Shinobi Ninja. Not only do they draw musical inspiration from the likes of Nirvana, Janet Jackson, Sublime,
and the Beastie Boys, but these 6 kids from NYC now have an awesome app for the iPhone and iPod Touch! "Brooklyn to Babylon: Shinobi Ninja Attacks" is the first video game / album. Its like the old Nintendo game "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" but with drumsticks and guitars instead of nunchucks and katanas!!! When you beat the game you get to download the album; when you go to a Shinobi show and hit a button in the app it unlocks additional content and exclusive offers. The game is only $1.99, and you get 6 songs, 2 music videos, and more! This same stuff would cost you 10 bucks in the Itunes music store, its a great deal!!!
Anyway, here's a link to see the game's trailer: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WMmlIb5Fcq4&fe…
