Its not very often you see me post about a game, but the classic games are still fun to play. I guess that shows my age a little bit, but not to worry. Anyway, the latest game is Paperboy Classic, and is now available in the App Store. As of now the game is selling for $0.99, but that is listed as being an introductory price. The regular price, which is $2.99 is supposed to go into effect as of February 10.
But getting back to the game, it is noted as being an “almost 100% faithful recreation” of the original.
Also, just to note that this is Paperboy Classic, which features 2.5D game play and is like the original from way back when. There is also another version of Paperboy in the App Store that features 3D game view as well as 3D action replay and multiple camera angles. That version is priced at $4.99.
I guess the Paperboy Classic version is probably supposed to be a teaser that is going to lead you to the other version, but I will stick with the classic style.
