When I was out at CES I was able to check out the new SeeThru Satin cases from Speck. First, they are nice looking cases that have a good feel in hand. Second, if you care about this sort of thing, they did also win an iLounge Best of Show award.
But more importantly, as for what you can expect, these cases offer a hard-shell like protection with a soft-touch finish. They also have openings for the dock connector, speakers, headphone jack, mute switch and camera lens. The volume control and power button are covered, however they are still easy to use.
And if you are in the market for a new case, the SeeThru Satin cases are now available for purchase. They are available in a variety of colors to include black, purple, red, blue, green and pink. As for the pricing, they are selling for $29.95.
Also, for some real world images, you can check out the post I recently did for the Primo battery. The case that is on the phone is a Speck SeeThru Satin.

I had this case. It was awful. Lasted for about 3 weeks then the rubber front started peeling off of the harder plastic. WASTE of money.
