Recently we have seen images of the titanium iPhone 3GS floating around the web, and it turns out that the phone is real and seemingly pretty sweet looking.
The length people will go to if they do not like the gadgets they are carrying will never surprise me and this one was done because Martin Schrotz did not “like the feel of the plastic back.” What did he do, well, he fired up CAD and made a new one out of titanium alloy.
This was not a simple one time, one off process. Well maybe the casing is one off, but one off in terms of the final. According to his story, it took several months and he went though some other materials such as aluminum, which was noted as being a “complete disaster.”

Thats one cool iPhone case. The guy who made it should totally make them for people. I want one!
