Wordpress for the iPhone (and iPod touch) has recently been given an update. The app is now at version 2.2 and with that comes a few new features.

While not a large set of new features was added, I would say these are going to be welcomed additions. At least welcomed by those who are looking to better manage a blog on-the-go.

According to the “what’s new” section in the App Store listing, Wordpress version 2.2 users will now be able to reply to and edit comments. Additionally, the app has also added highlighting for new items in the comment list, which means that comments still pending approval should be quicker to find.

Finally, as it was, the Wordpress app remains available as a free app.
