Digg to release iPhone app tomorrow? (Finally)
March 24, 2010 | Tim Bradbury

Being an avid Digg user as well as an avid iPhone user, I have long awaited the release of a Digg app for the iPhone. Now, don’t get me wrong, Digg’s iPhone-optimized site is pretty easy to use, but it definitely doesn’t stack up to an app devoted solely to “Digging.”
For those of you unfamiliar with what Digg is (and I doubt there are many of you,) here’s Wikipedia’s definition:
“Digg is a social news website made for people to discover and share content from anywhere on the Internet, by submitting links and stories, and voting and commenting on submitted links and stories. Voting stories up and down is the site’s cornerstone function, respectively calleddigging and burying. Many stories get submitted every day, but only the most Dugg stories appear on the front page.”
Late last year, Digg founder Kevin Rose confirmed that a Digg iPhone app was in the works [link], and according to 9to5Mac, the app will be released tomorrow in the App Store.
Expect to see a full review of the upcoming Digg app on iPhonefreak.com
This is what the app is supposed to look like, pretty sleek, no?
