Apple Announce iPhone OS 4.0 Event!
April 5, 2010 | Andy Boxall

If you thought Apple were done with the announcements and events following the iPad, then you were wrong! For on April 8th – yes, this Thursday – at 10am, Apple will gather a select few to discuss the future of the iPhone’s operating system.
Entitled a ‘sneak peak into the future of the iPhone OS’, the event will cover the next major incarnation of the operating system, version 4.0.
Surely the number one question concerning future iPhones will be answered in a mere three days – will multi-tasking be included in the next-gen iPhone?
We also can’t help wondering if we will learn anything about the next iPhone at the same time…

I sure hope they do enable multi tasking at last. My "Audiobook & Podcast Player" app will be able to run in the background while at the same time keep track of what you're listening to which a lot of its features depend on.
Did you try it out already? You should! It's free to install and evaluate…
