iPhonefreak (quasi) hands-on: Speck CandyShell case & ShieldView for the iPad

As you can see from the giveaway I posted about today, and the one that is still coming tomorrow — I have received quite the care package from Speck. Of course, most of it is being given away to the awesome readers that we have here, but these latest two will be used by me (at least for a little while) so I can write up a proper review.

The items are the CandyShell case and ShieldView screen protectors for the iPad. I have taken some images of them for posting here and will consider this a sort-of hands-on. I say sort-of because of the obvious fact in that I still do not have an iPad. Yup, I opted for the 3G model so I will have to wait a few more days, but just because I decided to go the 3G iPad route does not mean I should have to wait and share this.

What can I say, the screen protector seems durable, although I am a little scared to try and put it on. Also, the case is awesome looking and I cannot wait to put it on. Anyway, both items are seemingly solid, as I have come to expect from Speck products. That said, check out the images and a full review will follow after I finally get my iPad.

And to close this out, you can always learn more about these or any of the other Speck products over at the official Speck website.
