Jailbreaking news: Spirit jailbreak now available
May 3, 2010 | Robert Nelson

As expected, the Spirit jailbreak was released over the weekend. As for what is able to be jailbroken with Spirit — the iPad, iPhone and iPod touch. Though it is worth pointing out that Spirit is not an unlocking tool and can only be used to jailbreak, the good news is that it is an untethered jailbreak.
In terms of firmware, Spirit can jailbreak the latest — iPad on 3.1.2, iPhone on 3.1.3 or the iPod touch on 3.2. Other details include that Spirit can run on any device that is already activated and using any version (including 9.1.1) of iTunes.
This one does come with a nice warning for iPad users though;
“Note: On iPad, all this is still sort of beta. Some packages in Cydia, not designed for iPad, might screw up your system and require you to restore. Be careful. (And no, Cydia’s appearance is not final.)”
That said, hit the link below for the download if you are interested. Me personally, I am going to sit this one out, at least for now.
