And Then There Were Six – Tesco Mobile Joins the iPhone 4 Gang
June 17, 2010 | Andy Boxall

Sensible money was on this happening at some point, but we don’t think many were expecting the announcement to come this soon – Tesco Mobile will be the sixth mobile operator in the UK to sell the iPhone 4. Tesco are an MVNO and operate by using O2′s network, however O2 have no say in the prices Tesco sets.
With this in mind, and the fairly competitive prices Tesco attached to the 3GS, this could be the deal to watch out for. Their official page has nothing but the chance to register for updates, but we’ll let you know as soon as they make their tariff costs public.
This really only leaves Virgin Mobile without an iPhone 4 deal in the UK. Is this waiting in the wings, or are Virgin hoping to catch the customers sick of hearing about the iPhone?

This I am very excited about. Tesco could potentially undercut the other major suppliers by a considerable amount. Well, that's what I'm hoping anyway.
I must admit I've been waiting for Tesco to get in on the act ever since they got a share with the iPhone 3GS.
