June 28, 2010 | Andy Boxall

With the initial run of iPhone 4s already well on their way to selling out in the USA, UK, Germany, France and Japan; Apple has confirmed the next countries to get the go-ahead to sell the device, plus the amount they sold over the first few days. Between the launch and the 26th June, 1.7 million iPhone 4s were sold, making it the most successful launch in Apple’s history. That’s a lot of iPhones!
When the iPhone 4 was announced on the 7th June, it was stated that the phone would be available in 88 countries by the end of September, making this the quickest rollout ever for a new Apple product, and they have now confirmed the the next 18 countries in-line for the second wave of iPhone 4 sales:
- Australia
- Austria
- Belgium
- Canada
- Denmark
- Finland
- Hong Kong
- Ireland
- Italy
- Luxembourg
- Netherlands
- Norway

If you live in one of these countries, have you made plans to get an iPhone 4, or have the well-reported issues given you pause for thought?
