The FarmVille app was officially shown off during the WWDC keynote and we have some good news for those that may have been trying to wait patiently — the FarmVille app is now available in the App Store.
The app is dubbed ‘FarmVille by Zynga” and comes as a free download, though it seems like there are at least a handful of in-app purchases available including various amounts Farm Cash and Coins.
So far I have been able to download the app from the US-based store and have read that its also rolling out internationally as well. In other words, it looks like anyone with an iPhone or iPod touch will be able to waste enjoy some time farming. Well, anyone with iOS 3.0 or later.
That said, those that already play FarmVille on Facebook will likely be the ones that download this. That said, you will need to login with your Facebook account at launch, and otherwise you can now “plow, plant and harvest on the go.”
