We’re big fans of the iPhone game Toy Physics and are not only pleased to see it enter the top 100 list of puzzle games in the iTunes App Store, but also to hear that development is not standing still, but advancing into some pretty exciting new areas!

We’ve been given a glimpse of that future by the game’s developers, who say that an iPad version of the game is currently being put together, along with an interesting new multiplayer Challenge level, where players will be able to compete against others for the highest score.  Whether this will be a local or online mode isn’t clear at this stage.

Toy Physics should work well on the iPad too, with its larger screen giving plenty of opportunity for even more cunning level design.
