Apple Announce ‘Special Event’ for September 1st

Apple have sent out invites to selected members of the press to join them for a ‘special event’ on the 1st September at their headquarters in Cupertino, California. The images appearing online show a guitar with an apple logo in place of the sound hole.
We’ve been expecting it, and now we have a week for the speculation to reach atomic levels, as we wonder whether Apple iTV will be joining the inevitable new iPod models.
We wonder if they have anything else planned?
