Deliverace Becomes Reckless Racing, Out Before September

You may remember we showed you a video of a game called Deliverace at the beginning of April, a top-down racer from Pixelbrite Games with shades of Supercars and Ignition.  A ‘coming soon’ tag was attached but since then we’ve not really heard much about it, a worrying thing for a game that looked pretty polished at the time.

Deliverace has now resurfaced under the name Reckless Racing, and will be released by EA Mobile.  Aside from that, the other big change is that the game will also be released on the iPad as well as the iPhone, and from the shots provided by Pocket-Lint, it’s looking really fantastic on the larger screen!

The gameplay doesn’t appear to have changed much, as the three different modes of play are still there along with a Wi-Fi multiplayer option too.

We can’t wait for Reckless Racing, so it’s a good thing that EA have said it will be out before the end of August!  Pricing and the exact date have yet to be confirmed though.  In the meantime, take a look at this slightly revised trailer provided by EA Mobile, which features the same gameplay footage as before but with a much better soundtrack.
