Montblanc iPhone Pouch is Pure, Understated Style

I have always used a pouch-style case for my iPhone, purely because I like the naked look but still require a degree of protection while the phone is in my pocket or bag.  My current pouch is a FoofPod, which has served me very well, but I often glance jealously at my wife’s official BlackBerry pouch for her 8520 Curve, as it’s so good-looking.

However, if this new Montblanc pouch adorns my iPhone instead, I have a feeling the jealous looks will be reversed.  Montblanc are best known for their excellent pens and watches, however they also have a range of very high quality leather goods, of which this Meisterstück iPhone case is the latest addition.

The advert describes it as being made from black leather with a velvety-soft lining to protect the phone, plus the familiar white star-shaped Montblanc logo can be found on the base of the pouch.  What the advert doesn’t mention is what iPhone it’s for, as although we can’t see many companies fashioning a case for the 3G or 3GS anymore, it does rather look like one poking out the top in the picture.

The Montblanc case doesn’t appear on the company’s website as yet, but there is a chance it may be for sale in a Montblanc boutiques, however there is no mention of price for this little gem.  Bear in mind that their Meisterstück wallets are pretty much all £150/$235-plus, so it’s unlikely this will be cheap!  However in this case, it just adds to its desirability.
