Apple ‘Back to the Mac’ Event Announced
October 14, 2010 | Andy Boxall

While recent events have concentrated on products running iOS, Apple haven’t forgotten about the Mac and have announced a new event for the 20th October, entitled ‘Back to the Mac’.
The image that accompanies the invitation shows a lion being revealed from behind the Apple logo, suggesting that the next version of OS X will be named after the king of the jungle.
Aside from this, speculation is rife that we’ll see a new MacBook Air and possible updates to existing models too. We’re going to add that the release date for iOS 4.2 could be revealed as well.
