Powermat iPhone 4 Wireless Charging System Out Now

Powermat have released the Powermat Wireless Charging System for the iPhone 4. This complete pack contains the 1Xi wireless charging mat, a wireless receiver case for your phone and the required USB cable and mains power supply too, so everything is included to free you iPhone from wired recharging.
It’s simple enough to use, as the mat sits on your table and with your iPhone 4 wrapped securely in the special case, you just ensure it’s sitting neatly on top of it for the charging to begin. An audio alert lets you know everything is working correctly and the Powermat will shut itself off when the battery has been fully charged.
This type of charging system is available for the 3G and 3GS but the case was always a bit of a bloater, however this time, Powermat say they have made a sleek, slimline case which ‘mirrors your iPhone’s original design’. No measurements or weights are listed on their product page as yet.
The Powermat system is reasonably priced at $59.99, however we would like a closer look at the case before making a final decision.
This is very convenient, charging your iphone without wires. I wonder if and when it will be available for the ipad.
